Giving Back
We believe in supporting our staff and community. We’ve been involved in a variety of philanthropic activities, from serving as a Free Mason in Colorado to working with Rotary International in Boquete. Currently, we’re partnering directly with local community leaders to make a difference where it matters most. We have donated tens of thousands of dollars and through our construction team, we have donated countless hours of labor to provide services such as: building homes for local indigenous families at cost, often in partnership with local churches. We’ve also built worship locations at reduced cost for pastors and worship groups. Additionally, we’ve made private school tuition available to our employees’ high school-aged children to help support their academic success and empower future generations.
We are not affiliated with any local politicians or political parties, but we believe in the importance of collaborating with local representatives and mayors. Each year, we meet with the mayor to discuss upcoming projects where we may be of assistance. We’re committed to providing support to our community, whether that means donating funds or dedicating our labor. Recently, we’ve rebuilt a local soccer park and participated in redeveloping central park, donated to the installation of solar lighting in Boquete, constructed new septic systems and bathroom facilities at the local cemetery and even provided funding for the 18-wheelers used in the Christmas parade. We’ve also lent our expertise to other local charity groups by helping them rebuild and install generator systems. In addition, we’ve also assisted in building six dwellings for our employees who own them outright, and only need pay for material costs.
We share the belief that teaching valuable skills can make a big difference in people’s lives. We’ve taken this approach in our work with local communities, striving to leave a lasting impact that extends beyond just monetary or material donations. Over the years, we’ve worked closely with many young men in the area by teaching them modern construction practices and techniques that will enable them to succeed and grow in this ever-evolving industry. By imparting our knowledge, we’re confident that we’ll help to secure Boquete’s legacy by creating a talented and respected group of construction professionals who are well-prepared for Panamá’s bright and prosperous future.
